You still need to be bringing in and using your planners - they are there to help you... keeping them in your lockers will not help you. Form tutors and co tutors will be checking them - make sure they are there to check!!

In the house meeting, the house reps discussed the main problem of nowhere to go when it rained at dinner time. After bringing up this point in the whole school meeting we were told that at lunch pupils can go to the library or they can stay in the canteen. There is also an opportunity for pupils to book the sports hall or the astro turf at dinner time, so for example, they can play a game of football. During the meeting, we were also told that in the future, the school is hoping to raise funds for a large waterproof canopy to go over some of the outside area by the canteen. This would mean that pupils can sit outside when it rained but stay dry under the canopy.

During the Christmas fete on the 15th December, we are hoping to raise money, which will be given to two worthy charities in Wales. One way of raising this money is by selling Bric' A Brac', so if any pupils in Olwen house have any spare toys, china, etc... they wish to donate, then please bring it in as soon as possible and give it to Mrs Reese (maths teacher).

Well done to the Year 11's who helped raise money for prom during ARD!! during the day, the cake selling has raised £176.20!!!!!

All of you have got your new shiny planners! It is now time for me and the other Heads of Houses have to have a look at them to make sure they are being filled in!
Your TFL's will choose three of you and I will be looking at them to see if they are used correctly, i.e. no graffitti, all homework entered and to see if you have had them signed!
Don't upset your TFL's by not having them done!
